Buy Yourself Some Parcels
I love getting parcels. But it’s not many times in a year that we get parcels; maybe only during birthdays and Christmas right? Or in Ah Ma’s case never at all because the skanks actually tax parcels. Do they still do that?
Anyway for those of us who don’t get taxed on incoming parcels and feel like we don’t receive as many parcels as we’d wish, there is an easy solution to our problem – buy things online! O(≧∇≦)O
Today I received two parcels – 1. a small package from a nursery (plant, not babies) with three small packets of seeds for perilla plants! Sooooo exciting!! 2. a checked top and a dotted playsuit. A playsuit is just like a dress only at the bottom it’s not a skirt but culottes. I’m pleased with the playsuit! I haven’t tried it on but I hope it fits and looks nice. I’m going to wear the checked top to work. The checked top was so cheap, only £5!
Only thing is, I was sitting here surfing the net and thought I smelt “la pa” pills. These pills are really good for stomach upsets but they smell like shit. You can’t even touch them with your bare fingers when you’re taking them otherwise the smell will be on your fingers for days and you’ll feel like vomitting everytime you catch a whiff. I sniffed the air and asked GM whether he’d taken some “la pa” pills but of course he hadn’t. Guess what it was? My checked top! It smells of “la pa” pills!!! Oh dear.
Food Diary
Snack – One banana
Lunch – Ham strips, runner beans, cucumber slices and green and purple salad leaves with a bit of balsamic vinegar. Only a bit of balsamic vinegar because on the way to work most of it managed to find itself out of the tupperware box into the plastic bag.
Snack – One old tangerine. I was really really hungry this afternoon, perhaps because the weather is decidedly cooler today. So I had to resort to eating my last old tangerine. Unfortunately it wasn’t very satisfying.
Dinner – Rice with a whole load of chinese dishes. We went to GM’s aunt’s for dinner and they cooked loads of nice food since GM’s relatives from HK were there too. I tried to make healthy choices and ate some pieces of boiled chicken, lotus root, vegetables and steamed egg but did succumb to a couple of duck pancakes and crispy beef. Hehe. Well I’m not going to deny myself anything, I believe that moderation is the key.
Drink – Peppermint tea
Drink – Half a bowl of hot and sour soup. Hadn’t drunk that in ages!
Drink – One bowl of lotus root with pork bone soup
Drink – Water
Exercise
30 minutes rowing
15 minutes weights machines
At least I exercised!
